- The silicon content is indirectly proportional with the austenitic phase.
- This element has a big effect on the important points of this diagrams, like peritectic, eutectic point, etc.
- The liquid-graphite´s phase (region 2) is grows up at the same time that the silicon content is bigger.
- The Silicon helps to grow up alfa phase.
